At Westbrooks Brewery, every can tells a story born from the fast lane. Founded by ex-professional racing driver Richard Westbrook, our brews and designs pay homage to a life lived at full throttle.
Each of our can designs carries a nod to legendary racing circuits around the world, places that have defined motorsport history and shaped Richard’s own incredible journey behind the wheel.
Driven by Design
In keeping with that tradition, our Mexican Lager Peraltada takes its name from one of the most iconic corners in motorsport, the Peraltada Curve at Mexico’s Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
A fearsome, high-speed, 180-degree final corner with minimal run-off, it was once the proving ground that truly separated the men from the boys. While the modern Formula 1 layout has evolved, cutting through the baseball stadium and using only a section of the legendary bend, the legacy of the original Peraltada lives on, and now, so does its spirit, captured in our can design.
So as the F1 action unfolds on track, take a moment to enjoy a Peraltada, a beer inspired by the turns that shaped racing history.
Peraltada: Unfiltered Low-Carb Mexican Lager
We’ve taken inspiration from Mexico’s vibrant brewing culture and added our own spin on this Mexican-style lager to bring you a full flavoured, un-filtered, low carb delight.
In homage, we’ve brewed with maize and the finest barley, delivering the classic light malt character that defines the style.
Now for the fun, to really make it pop, we’ve used a combination of Simcoe in the kettle and Motueka in the whirlpool, creating a refreshing lime-forward citrus note that makes every sip crisp, bright and perfectly balanced.
So put that lime wedge away and save it for your shrimp tacos, this ain’t no macro lager.
With just 1.5g of carbs per can, 4.2% ABV, and completely gluten-free, Peraltada is your go-to all-day, easy-drinking lager that you can enjoy without compromise.
